here comes dipers

Hey guys just checked with the docs and her numbers improved over night. She has still got a bumpy road ahead but it is smoothing out some i hope
 
My daughter is 10 months old and she was born with a heart defect also . so far she has had two heart surgeries and a stomach surgery . she still has to be fed through a tube but other than that she is doing great . she still has a couple more heart surgeries to go as she gets older so beleive me when I say I know exactly how you feel and what you and your family are going through . Yall are in me and my families prayers . Pretty much all you can do is talk to the man upstairs and put it in his hands . im praying and hoping it all turns out alright .
 
We just went back and saw her. She is better today. They took her off two meds last night and are going to try to get her off two more today. And they will try to get the numbers on the vent down some today too
 
Today is more improvement. She is on the lowest levels on her meds. Docs say that they will close her chest tomorrow as long as her swelling improves today. Her lungs are still the real worry. They are slowly getting better. We started a facebook page for her. ... Prayers for harper brooke. So if you are into the facebook thing then search for it.

I have 2 myself my son is about to be 16 and my daughter just turned 10!!! They grow up fast! :****:
 
Bump for the babe. How is she? My wife is a PICU RN, she explained your situation for me. It's pretty routine at UT hospital, about a couple a week, and most all babies pull through. If you have all these prayers and a good nursing staff & docs, that babe's got it made. Much prayers from Knoxville, bro. Keep us posted! thumb.gif
 
They partialy closed her chest this morning. As they were closing her up her bp droped a little so they did not close her up completely. They will prob finish the job tomorrow or monday. Her heart is looking great. it is her lungs that are in such bad shape. So if you are still praying then say a prayer for lungs. thanks matt
 
Today has been a down day. Her kidenys are having an off day today so they changed aroud some of her meds and they had to change out her pain meds. Things are ok now but she needs prayer
