I need someone to finish building my buggy, but who?

Fixing the rear shock issue would be easy, and its the least of the problems with the chassis. Its as simple as inboarding the upper shock mounts, and adding the supporting tube work to make it strong. To lower the front down, and make it level with the rear would pretty much take cutting most of the front off and starting over, unless you want to just have the shocks ride lower in their stroke, and sacrifice uptravel (which isn't good for rock bouncing). If you have to move the engine to allow those mods, you may end up having to cut/modify whats left of the original chassis to allow that to happen. At that point you have just put more time and material into your existing chassis, instead of just starting out fresh.

They are just saying that sometimes it's easier (and cheaper) to start from scratch than to fix something that isn't right.

Wow, just saw this thread, at the booger welds! Looks like bubble gum and bird **** mixed together! Note: if anyone grinds a weld, no matter how insignificant, they're hiding a **** weld. I would almost volunteer to do it for free just to save your life in a hard rollover, but my wife wants me to take a break after I finish this Juggy build.

That's what I like to hear. Gubni is a good guy and good to wheel with as well. I've only seen him out in his CJ, but he's been beating on that ole girl for quite a few years. Every time I see it I remember the days wheeling at Tellico...it's just that type of rig!

Looking forward to seeing some pictures of what he ended up with.

Chris at Marsfab or PJ at M&M. It's a tough place to be in for sure. Just be realistic with your budget, it's going to cost more than you think. Good luck

was going to mention PJ since he is building me a buggy right now, but didn't realize it's already handled.

congrats on getting it done. I was in a somewhat similar situation since I had wrecked my truggy (nasty rollover) and it was more work than it was worth to try and fix everything. we ended up stripping everything off and sending it to PJ and started from scratch. that being said, the buggy route will be quite a bit more expensive, but in the long run, the better option since I'll have a much higher quality build and something more capable.
