Have a blessed day.
Odd how things find us as we contemplate our next move in live that aren't ours but bought with a price on the cross.money_pit_yj said:I posed this question in Sunday School this morning. How much more is God calling us to do with our life? To say that God's calling on our life is simply to be faithful churchgoers, is ridiculous. Yes, He wants that, but God did not send his only begotten son to be bruise and broken on the cross facing the worst pain anyone has ever faced, freeing us from the bondage sin has on our life JUST so we would be regulars at church. Go this week with intentionality and live the Gospel,. I hope all you hardliners have a blessed and wonderful week!

Yep Yep, great points lately. I can't believe its been 5 years since I started this thread. Keep it up guys. Anywhere we can infiltrate Christ we need to.money_pit_yj said:Why is it if we were given a million dollars and told to spend it we would have no problem letting people know but we have the gift of eternal life through Christ Jesus yet we seldom tell a single person? Have a great week this week men, be praying for the family who lost their twins and the family with the new addition. Make a difference in someone's life this week and tell the. About Christ!

Hope we are all in a Service on Easter Sunday!money_pit_yj said:Right about now Jesus was being savagely beaten and was about to carry his cross up the hill to Golgotha where He would be crushed by our all of our sin past present and future. He bore this burden, was separated from His almighty father, and died so we may be redeemed from a life enslaved to sin and so that we would not have to be separated from God. Jesus died. The great news is that the story doesn't end there........Sunday is coming!!!!
Isaiah 53:5 "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."

Whether these incidents were of human error or not is not to be debated in this thread and is not my point of writing this, but is to merely point out that God has his hand in everything we do, good or bad. Everything we do everyday can have catastrophic results or by the grace of God, glorious results.
With that said, I write this because of an unsung organization that leaves me with a true calm before the proverbial storm. Racers For Christ (Team RFC) has provided a chaplain before a few of the races I have entered and I can tell you first hand that they have truly made a difference in the way I approach the day. They give me the calm mindset to realize what is most important in my life before heading up the hill.
God, family, friendship.
Without God, I am nothing more than a broken man with sins he washes away time after time. I am of the realization that he compels me to be a better man/ person each and every day. As for the racing portion, I know that I must return to my family and that racing is just for the fun of it and nothing more. My life is NOT worth the price that has recently been paid by others. My heart bleeds for Jerrod, Valerie, and other friends of mine that have to burden the shoulder of pain for their losses. Maybe it has taken 5 deaths of people I know in the last 1.5 years for me to realize that life is too short to risk it all for a moment in the Limelight. But still, I will try my hardest in what ever I do, but I now ride with a passenger. God.
I have recently been in contact with Eddie Baugher, Field Ministry Director for RFC and I will be rocking there colors on my buggy in hopes to maybe help others to see the light than has been shined onto me. Please look into there organization as they have been deeply involved in other forms of racing for the past 45 years, mostly on the West coast and hopefully will grow in our field of racing. Thank you for your time and God Bless all of you in whatever form of fun you choose. Gregg
