JRich's 1 Ton Taco

Re: JRich's 1 Ton Taco

put a loc rite up front.... I wish I would have. welded front and rear on drive flanges brings the suck.

Re: JRich's 1 Ton Taco

agreed! my rig turns likes a school bus with the welded front. I just picked up a detroit for the rear and I am planning on getting a loc rite for the front soon. it will be nice to be able to turn
keep your eyes open on pirate, sometimes you will find a good deal. i got the detroit and carrier for 360 shipped to me.....

Re: JRich's 1 Ton Taco

Listen to P on that! my old yota welded front and rear it brings the suck buggy lockrite front welded rear turns like a dream

Re: JRich's 1 Ton Taco

you do remember who your talking to right guys.... the Broke :afro:

Def plan in running a loc-rite in the front to compliment my rear detroit as soon as funds allow, but that won't be for a few months...
and I plan on running loc-outs instead of flanges... so at least no weldered front to and from trail...

Re: JRich's 1 Ton Taco

Jrich, you'll blow lockouts like your mom blows homeless guys with a welded front and all that power :flipoff1:
Mine, I deal with it and actually don't mind it a bit if I drive in front wheel drive everywhere until I need rear. its easy as hell.
Is a lock right lunchy or a new housing?

really think i'll blow lockouts with my 4cyl... the stickies may finish them off...
wanted to run 35 splines and premies.. but will do flanges if they wont hold...

locrite is a lunchy, but people seem to get really good results out of them...

Re: JRich's 1 Ton Taco

I asked on the lunch issue because if you weld your front proper, you won't have a carrier to put the locker in when you're ready. Sure, get another carrier, I have 3 laying here you can have one, but setting up a dana front is a shitty way to spend a saturday when you could be riding.

Re: JRich's 1 Ton Taco

On a side note....

That ninja in El Paso, Tx finally got my half tons and what not from under the Taco...
I didn't Kno they would clean up so well... Hell, If there was ever a neglected set of axles, it was those... :afro:
