What happened to Ryan Bramhall?

They posted the updated listing right at the beginning of the show. Burley was not on it nor was Bramhall, Danny Smith, and a few others.

I was disappointed with the Ultra4 buggies since most were just trail rigs. But still enjoyed the show.

Hopefully next year it's back at Backdoor though.

Thought I'd see you out there!

:rolf: **** son. I'm just a hack Sportsman/Unltd class "racer" that likes riding dirtbikes. I'd be one of the ones getting picked from the course for getting lapped.

I wanted to see wally palmer hit chocolate thunder on the booyang and show all the buggies a 20 sec run!!! hitit with one of them fancy 2x2 moter sikkles!

Congratulations to Scott for a great 38 second run..... :dblthumb:

Matt was on a sub 40 second run till he ran into trouble, thought he was going to make another U turn and head back down molaugh

Great job to Randall even though he got off course a bit, that dust has to be blinding especially when the lights are blaring in your eyes. thumb.gif

I think I could have driven out there and moved that big old girl truggy that broke after the finish line quicker then they decided to go around him. He was way past the finish line and plenty of alternative routes to go by.

Miles is always a class act announcing. Kind of wondered why they called it Bouncer vs U4 though? More north woods trail rigs in my opinion than U4's but still a great show.

Seemed like they keep Trip out of the live feed this year, wished some real ultra 4 rigs would have gone up but still a good show and I appreciate the live feed form all the events

I wonder if they did it at the end of the week, if they would have more U4 participation?
I know if I was really there to run the Hammers, I wouldn't wanna risk a major break by bashing on my rig during the shootout...BUT, if my rig was still together after the races and this was up next I would be inclined to give er hell.
Dunno, just a thought...

In everything, The Main Event is last. No way the powers that be would put this after the main event. Because... It would turn in to the main event, and they don't want to admit it's more spectator friendly than watching "cars" race off in to the sunset only to return an hour later for 15 seconds, over. And over. And over. And over. Asleep yet?

It probably does suck to watch from afar. How do they monetize the free broadcasts? How do they monetize the race? People who are there get more of an experience and pay to be in hammertown.

Endurance racing is fun to participate in. Spectating brings the suck. Whether motor sports, biking, running, whatever. Plain sucks.

While in hammertown, the jumbotron is right by the pits so you are watching all the helicopter footage and seeing the leaderboard/watching trackers as its happening and people are coming into pits, Miles is interviewing, etc. Then we run out to CT or on the hammers trails and watch a bit, then roll back, have lunch, drink, go back to jumbotron etc. Its a cool ****ing day when you are fully updated to all that is happening as it unfolds on a 40' screen. Probably sucks in front of your computer.

You're describing any endurance race event. I used to race xc mtn bikes. It was fun as hell racing. It was fun as hell hanging at the events and the pits. It sucks hairy balls watching the "xc racing". It's amaze-balls watching the downhill racing. And that's a direct correlation to ultra4 racing vs hill-killing
