KOH bullshitting thread

I caught most of it I think.

CT sucked!
Quality of rigs sucked!
I thought Miles did damn good with how much deadair he had to fill.

Congrats to Scott on the win.

You mean that 30 minutes to watch that Bigass truggy stopped at the top of the exit area? I do not know what broke on it but it was so far past the finish line that it should not have been a driver completing the course issue. Miles carried through it like that was part of the show and was supposed to happen. Great job for sure. :dblthumb:

He had the course plugged, then they hooked a 3500 lb rig to it. His winch was dragging him... so they hooked the dead truck winch up also and it dragged him even faster. It was full on special for a while. The big recovery vehicle "blazer on 54's on mraps" could have dragged him down the hill no problem, but for some reason they put another 3500lb rig up there and they actually moved him a good 20 feet up past the finish line. He still wasn't off the course enough to let others go by, so after a half hour they had the big blazer go up and be an anchor for the one buggy winchin.

As for what happend to it? It had a nasty backfire (running rich) and it died. It was a blown big block, so not sure if he popped the blower, the driver never got out to look

Re:

I saw a guy finished in a brand new mostly stock Yamaha. I think they said, picked it up 2 weeks ago, installed tranny gears & wheels/tires, and tuned the coilovers. That's badass.

Well from what everyone said about the shootout I'm glad I didn't watch it live. But I did just watch the BKF version and it was pretty good, though it had what I assume is better camera angles and cut out all the BS between runs.

Last two years I was also hammered drunk when I watched it. I am sure that had something to do with it. Being sober and hill selection really got me down this year.

Big Race starts up in a couple hours. Hope one of the east coast guys can bring the crown back to this side of the country :driving:

Pic on instagram showed Miller rolled last night doing some testing. Sounded like they were still in for the big show today.

Pulling for Derek to take it, hes been hunting a hammers win for a while now. Miller always has a good chance, and if Healy doesn't lawn dart the dragon this year it has a good shot at just running away with it.

Get ahead of the trail tampon, drive smart the rest of the race, keep your fingers crossed that everything else falls into place.
