P I am glad you are excited to be a part of our long shot bid. I am all for doubling up and hauling two rigs out there whether it is yours or with AC. That will make the trip much more doable and free up some cash for buggy upgrades and prep. Work with the person you had in mind on the truck/trailer borrow and see what we can get. If it does not work out I will talk to Pops and AC about a spot with them. Kinda wish I had that big diesel guzzlin CTD back right about now. ;D I would like to leave on Saturday prior, which puts us there Sunday at some point if we can drive straight through.
Wyatt Jeff said last year they invited 58 and 44 showed, so that means we should have several drop off this year. All of those spots go into the LCQ pool. Could be 20+ spots open there...
Oh yeah the days prior we will be running the **** out of Backdoor so I can know that trail for the LCQ.

**** I will bring a tent or put a paw-paw camper on the back of my junk and sleep there. I was wondering about the food thing, thanks for that info Rob. Guess we will need to bring a grill or something to cook on. Stoked!

If I can get it to a vehicle headed west I can bring a Charcoal or gas grill, 100 qt cooler for grub and will pimp my friends that do a lot of tail gating for more EZ ups and what not. I might have to make a trip to KC just to drop of **** to haul out there. Hell I can do that, leave my car in P-town and fly out of KCI and drive back.

Isn't it a law that the previous owner of said truck can borrow it for a week at the hammers? That would be a good bet it is setup to pull heavy and I know it pretty well

Anyone interested in me shipping a camera? Wyatt, Kelly and I have to hammer out the documentary, but we are trying to document the journey TO the hammers, and tell the story of a bunch of friends coming together from all over the country--puttin' in work to make it to/and be a part of this race.

..and really the race, I won't have much footage from. I have shot this before and it is hard to shoot---it's too large of an area the course is. I know this going into it. Our intentions is telling the story, documenting the testing/tuning/prerunning...

Rob I would think the LCQ race would be good for footage since it is a small course and one area. We will be riding an testing the week prior, so I will grab a camera whenever you need a hand. I think that is a really cool idea man. Neat story

So we got folks coming for support from Iowa, Kansas, Alabama, Mississippi, Texas? Too damn cool.
Somehow once we figure out what we need to bring, then we need to delegate stuff to people so we don't have 4 of this and none of that. It's not going to be a cheap adventure just to get there, so think smart and we all won't be packing everything and the kitchen sink out there and not use half of it.
Primitive camping, simple food and tons of liquids. The rest for spare buggy parts and tools.

We are following 555 out there... and the LCQ guys/race will be another story kinda pushed into it... Tellin ya this is prime and hollywood couldn't make up a better story.
I'm planning on being out there the week before. Head out Friday maybe half day at work or just take the day off... then back on the road on Mon/Tues
