I will need to figure this out as soon as our 09 work schedule is released....that way I can look for plane tickets, also have to worry about my drill weekend....praying its not on the same weekend. prolly no holidays round that time either, would be nice to get a free vacation day. LOL not sure how much help I would be, but I would for damn sure turn wrenches or whatever to help the cause. It would definately be cool to hang with you guys for the weekend. time will only tell.

I'm thinking of going but I will probably be flying cause I can't take off that many days. Found a couple of plane tickets round trip from bham to L.A. $256.00 then rent a car and meet up with everyone. What do yall think?

Why do I drive anywhere?! I thought flying was way more expensive.

HAHA LA is still 2-5 hours from the hammers depending on traffic (it's 100 miles laughing1)

You want to fly into ontario... 1.5 hours away max... 60 miles.

Let's talk about this a little closer to the trip time... you gotta book tickets 2 weeks in advance to get good pricing

Not sure which route we will drive at this point, we may drive down south and link up with 555

Rob, you do realize it's almost 2000 miles from Alabama to the Hammers? 100 Miles aint shiat compared to that. :flipoff1:

Where is Ontario in relation to L.A.?

Ontario is far north-east... where the 10 and 15 meet. Right off the 15 for anyone goin from LA. If you fly into Ontario you will have ZERO foot traffic at the airport. It's like MCI size.

Yea but tell me you're gonna drive to the hammers... pass the hammers... go 100 miles... pick bones up... go 100 miles back to the hammers...

I'm just sayin I think rentin' a car or hitchin' a ride from that direction would be much more practical. My offer of friends/fam is VERY realistic. I'd like to avoid going to LA. It will kill 1 full day to go pick someone up. Trussst me I lived there bubba :flipoff1:
