Wyatt I am a planner also and have the one billion KOTH planning threads hurts my brain. I am going to consolidate them into this one instead of having multiple threads.
Here is my plan from my brain. Bones set us up with Never Monday off PBB (Mr. Underkill on here) and he has a big cummins and 38ft GN to pull 3 rigs. He is in Atlanta so we are on his way. He is going to come to my place on Friday evening, Feb 21st. P plans to bring his rig as the 3rd on the trailer and we are going to split fuel 3 ways. Underkill has a stock mod TJ rig and is not in the LCQ, just coming to spectate and help I guess. We are leaving out early on Saturday (Feb 22nd) morning and plan to drive through. Should be on the lakebed by Sunday afternoon with food and supplies for the week.
Leave Sat from Bham, Feb 22
Arrive Sun at the Hammers, Feb 23rd
Mon, Feb 24th WHEEL
Tues, Feb 25th WHEEL
Wed, Feb 26th WHEEL
Thurs, Feb 27th LCQ
Fri, Hope to be in the big race if not Wyatt will have another pit rig
Sat, Come home
Wyatt most of the LCQ field is from out west, Utah, Cali and Colorado so I full expect to have to earn any shot I may have at the real race. I am assuming that for some of the pre-running, especially on back door and the designated course P will need to ride with me so we can get some practice as a team. If we are just out wheelin and P is driving his rig then I will have an empty seat. That is really all I have, we should have enough open seats to accomidate everybody!

My rig will be there... and as well.. if we have to strip parts off that bitch to keep racecars right, so be it Im cool with that. Im taking it for fun , and support. Support being if Im not in it and Miles, Bones Kelly is in it, thats fine too.
Yes Matt and I need to spend a good deal of time out there learning the terrain TOGETHER ... Ill hand the 30 over to "the boys" if that helps your efforts at that time and Im not in it playing and wheeling.
It will be a group effort from all sides from these boards, I have no doubt in that at all. We will all do what we need to to support and help each other. Thats part of the adventure

So you guys realize that you can't have chase crews bringing you parts or helping you fix stuff. It is all up to what you can pack in the buggy and fix yourself.

Yeah there are designated pits and even if your team is not manning one, there will be others to help

Only thing you need is to get more time behind the wheel and tune it so you KNOW the rig. Stop letting Kelly talk you into reddoing a major component after each ride
