Let's see your tow rig!!!

I have the same truck & wheels. Is your front axle pushed forward? What tires are you running? I have 35s on mine and they rub when turning.

Axle isn't pushed forward however, it could use adjustable control arms to get it re-centered in wheel well. It just has a cheap 3" level kit on 37x12.50r17 Nitto Trail Grapplers. Mine also rubs control arms when trying to turn to full lock position.

Picked up a 3.0 Duramax 5 weeks ago. It's has cut my fuel cost by 60 % when not towing and 15% while towing.

Little over a year ago I got a 3.0L Powerstroke and have been really happy with it in my half ton. I came from a 2.7 Ecoboost that did great, but this engine has a lot more torque and is better on MPG. I'm guessing your duramax is good on torque also?

I sold my 05 dodge, which I bought new, a couple months ago. Picked up this 2016 about a month later.

Now my trailer doesn't match any more, but I guess I'll survive. Lol

I havent hand figured yet but the trucks says 12-14ish on flat roads 70mph, 5k load. Empty truck says 18+. Before delete best I got was 15 unloaded

Just curious really. I know Ian Johnson loves his Cummins Titan, and I've seen several running around here lately, but no first hand experience with them.

They never really was very popular compared to the top 3. 2020 is the last year for the Cummins version, the resale value is very low. I traded my Tacoma and alittle cash to get into the titan with less miles and alot more features. So far I love it

Used market when I was looking folks still seemed pretty proud of them.

I looked a few times for a Titan xd but I didn't feel great about buying a truck that was produced for such a short time. The power and tow rating on those is right in line with my old 2500 so I'm sure it could get the job done.
