Total loss equals a repair bill over 75% of NADA value.
If you pay the other 25%, you get it back.
Trade in or Retail? I doubt it's $4500 in damages from a retail stand point.

And yes, just another one of those things to set apart the race team as nothing but the highest level of professional I can swing.

If your going for professionalizm you better re-evalute most of your team members... they are all dirtbags like the rest of us ! Specially that special kid with one boob and 2 assholes ! laughing1

Well then it may happen. find out this week I hope

Start preparing your "case" now. Get really familiar with all different values for your vehicle and take an inventory of any modification or upgrade to it. Make a list, have receipts, etc. and negotiate with them to get the value as high as possible. It can only help you out whether its totalled or not.

New tires and shocks the last 5 months is about it. $600 maybe. I'll print out some BB values from Kelly, NADA, etc and have it all ready just in case. Thanks

Just a quick search. New hood, grill, head light assembly, bumper cover, fender $515 plus shipping. Then paint. Not changing the rad. support, just beat it to fit a new headlight. Go to one of those $300 paint jobs come spring and pocket a couple grand.

I doubt ins. would pay ME $3800 since a ton of that price is labor I imagine. will call at lunch.

If that is the estimate, then there is no reason why they shouldn't...

I am not a body shop on their list, so no labor for me. I don't really care, nor want to parts shop and fix it anyway. Let em fix it and I'll have a vehicle again I could give two shits about with 1/3 fresh paint to sell in 2 years for $750. laughing1
