My Junk

Whoa, lookin good Mike! Hey, Im in town for a few days (daughter's graduation on Tuesday) and was wondering if you are going to be around the house today. If so, I got a tripple shot mocha with your name on it and some crazy raspberry something or other for krista. Just let me know what time is good. Oh, I will also be bringing some $$$ that has been burning a hole in my pocket.... :awesomework:

Ok when bill threw the high steer stuff on--he just roughed it in and I told him I would finish the adjustments. Here is the process I use for setting toe (similar when the rotors are on it). I use 1" square tubing, clamp it down so its level. Then I mark center and measure equally from center which gives me equal measuring locations side to side. Then all you do is measure side to side till you get the appropriate toe--super simple.

So next I went ahead and installed the ram. For those who have done the TG kit--you must clearance the U-bolt, drivers side front inner. I chose to remove the tall 9/16" nut and go with a standard nut and just cut off the U-bolt.

Located the position of the ram (TG mounts make it fairly simple) and tached the brackets in place. Removed, welded and painted and reinstalled the ram. Pretty straight forward really..

And here you can see the clearance on the U-bolt. I also chose to remove some of the bolt on the ram side to give it a little more. I will have to see how this does when I get the rig out for testing. There is a 3/8" plate on the perch to make up the perch hiegth difference and if it becomes an issue I can just cut that off which will help.

And here is how I did the lines. I made a bracket that I welded to the edge of the shock to mount the lines too.

Also--here is the list of missing items I need to complete it..

1--Igniter (looks like odie has that covered)

2--O2 sensor (heated style)

3--Alternator harness

4--Accell cable

5--Injectors

6--Knock sensor

7--Clutch fan(Frankie should have that)

8--Speedo drive gear/housing (currently a big hole in the t-case,lol)

Hey Mike, japerry has the TG setup, and it's nounte like this IIRC, and his TR is bent at the mount, but I'm thinkin the ram is over-extending causing the issue---I remember you stating earlier in Sam's build you modified the ram to shorten its stroke---can you PM me on how to do this???
Man, that bolt/ubolt clearance is not much is it...:eeek: Looks good though...
