My really slow 4runner build up

Noew were talkin.

What are you going to do to reinforce the core support?

When I dropped in the motor, tranny, t case I cut the core support out to make it easier on myself since I did it alone, I moved the radiator about an inch foreward, so I will be welding back in most of the core support.

i like the placement of the winch, but how are you supposed to engage it:redneck:

the inner fenderwell is cut out so I can still reach in and flip the lever, If it's super muddy and I don't feel like getting messy, I guess I'll just have to let it power itself out.

How are those tie rods coming?

I know I know, I've got so much stuff going on, in order to get a measurement I have to take back off the standard tie rod and set the ram in place to get a measurement. I'll get on it.

damn..... and here I was excited because my poly bushings and traction bar parts were here:cheer:
 
Set up the 9 last night.

Brad, I think I have a descent fix for the ring gear bolt's backing out.:;

That should work just fine for a trail rig :awesomework:

Actually pictures arent the best, I'd guarentee it for 100,000.

I could have dialed it in better, but after 10 or more in and out's clearencing the housing I said **** it (it's an early Yukon 3rd, they need the **** ground out of them so the gear's actually rotate, 2" wide 1/8" trough all the way around and about 1/2" off of the pocket bearing boss).....good enough.

I don't think you will EVER have a problem with it.

I think the only time you might have a problem(not in your rig) but under the cirmcumstances where there is ALOT of ponies---like a drag car where torque is aplied to the bolts/stretching. But like I say you will be good to go....

Well in that case I would set it up at .004-.007 and run the pinion on the shallow side. Thank's for the re-assurance.........I know it's good to go.:fawkdancesmiley:
