Had a pretty good turnout this year, only problem, the rocks owned everybody this time! Lots of carnage! It was cold but that didn't bother anybody at all. People started breaking Sunday night and early Monday and most pulled out. Twango (and staff) cut a new trail saterday, and it will be a dandy when finished! I think perry got some vido of me trying to clime it and he'll probably post soon. I think Joe got some pics also. Any way GMP is an awesome park and I'm glad people are starting to realize that and support it more by coming out and riding. The park is going to host some events next year( I mean this year) and when we get dates well post up! HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!!!

Yea we had a great time. Our group loves Golden Mountain. It was slick and nasty this weekend, but fun as always. We had 3 front dana 60 axles break, 2 u joints, 1 ball joint, and 2 toyota birfields out of our group which sent us packing Monday around lunch. We will be back.

Had a rock flip up and bend my power steering pump bracket, dent my pump (which caused a severe leak), and cut my belt Sunday night. We were able to get it back up and going Monday morning thanks to Perry's skills, and was able to ride the rest of the day. Not sure if we got many photos or video. It's too bad because there were some good beat downs going on, Rev limiters were just a bouncing. booyang

Had a great time riding, but most of all enjoyed the company of great friends.

Yea we could hear yall and see your lights from the bunkhouse while yall were on 15. Motor sounded wicked echoing thru the woods. Rig is bad jcorlew.

Thanks, sucks we didn't get to link up with you guys. You will have to let us all know when you guys plan on coming back and maybe we can hit some trails together.

Glad that everyone had a good time. Does suck that th weather was so bad hopefully next time we can get some dry days in. For all of you that left here is a couple of pics from today. I ended up sliding off the mointain on trail 12 and broke my steering. It was interesting blazing my way out the bottom!

I had a blast until I broke a brake caliper and bracket.

They are cutting a new hill climb but it is not finished. Hal and Josh gave it a try and helped clear some debris. ;D

After beating on the new trail saterday, I loosened up the bolts that holds the flex plate to the torque converter. The flex plate was hitting the starter and that was the squeaking noise, whew I'm glad that's all that was! My overson shafts will be in Friday so let's go boys!!!

I was in the group with Slagle. We had a blast got some sweet pics that my wife took and a video of Slagle doing the most graceful barrel roll that ill post a link to in the next couple days after I rest. Didnt break anything but on the drive back to Texas had three trailer tires blow out. But I'll take that over breaking on the trail anytime.
