Non-Newbie Run 2008

Just FYI...you really do need bigger than 37's to run the OM.

Stan fought it hard with his and made it through but a little more clearance would have made a huge difference.

Me and stan discussed this after loading up-- The low clearance didn't help but his wider chassis really hampered him...

With that one rock out of the middle of the obstacle (diff hanger) on the climb it should be way more doable. It's the one that gets most folks...and the other bigger rock to the left is getting ready to roll too :redneck:

I saw alot of **** move--and I can see alot more **** moving once the trail gets beat down a lil more.

It amazes me how easily that granit rock cracks/breaks...

I sure tried to get that guy out of there :redneck:

but hey for my virgin run through OM I only had to winch twice and I tried to winch a 3rd time but you all know how that ended up :;

Mauler & Ian I think...there's more probably, I just didn't get to see everything.

Mark, James & Rick came real close though

Not "too" sure 'bout Ian not winching....maybe....didn't pay that much attention. Jeremy didn't winch and I don't think Mark did either not that it really matters......thats wheelin......go back through again and we'll winch and they won't.....whoopy-do.

..........and whoever cut the stumps out of the trail.......you suck....and shouldn't be running that trail if you can't NAVIGATE around a couple stumps:looser: :rolleyes:

I made it through under my own power...V8 & Winch...I'm happy :redneck:

As for the stumps...hurry up and cut the rest out, maybe it'll help get the soil and **** outa there and expose more rock.

Where are all these pics/vids???? Didn't get to go due to Patches steering parts not showing, and had to work---lookin forward to seeing pics of what I missed....

I made it without winching but like you said, it'll be a different story next time.....maybe.

What stumps were cut? Which spot? Any idea who did it? :stirpot:

Didn't you winch yourself off that stump at the top of the climb (after you made the climb) or was that someone else?

Nope. But I did get all ****ed off at the top. After 10 minutes of the "queer-steer-wiggle" I freed myself......I'm the man.:D
