Something a couple of posts back got me thinking. If a shaft has been broken or run a long time, would it make a good drive shaft, verses a new shaft. I always think about my shafts after I have twisted the splines, and then run them the other direction, if they are as strong as new. I don't think they could be. If the shaft has been broken, it has had a huge shock put to the entire shaft. I think it would be best to buy a new 44" long side shaft and cut it down.
to some extent, but its seeing 1/4 the strain. He has 4.1 ratio, so its reduced after the shaft meaning way smaller parts upstream are okay

alright P i made my driveshaft today like we talked about , but i tried to figure out wtf matt was talking about, the axle shafts ears are 1350, but i had a regular 1350 ujoint and the axle shaft ears are way to close to run a regular 1350 joint so matt what type of joint are you running at your axle end just wondering my shaft is already done :flipoff1:

internal clip style. there is a cross joint that has internals on one cap and externals on the other cap. or see if the axle shaft joint will go in your yoke on tcase to ubolt it in.
