Woodlee said:I will throw in my two cents for what its worth. CRAWL is a company that has jumped in feet first to produce a Magazine that real wheelers will read and enjoy. They are a small company stepping up to a big task and there is going to be some growing pains. When we get the Magazines they are quality and the apparently keep up entertained or their wouldn't be any fuss over the late mag. If my Four Wheeler mag showed up late I wouldn't even notice.
Now after talking with Ricky he is happy to work for CRAWL magazine and if he wasn't he could quit. I don't think he signed a contract. I will support any one in business that is trying as they are. I feel their pain every day. They are out taking picks and making the scenes to events then their business is slacking at the office. If they at the office then there are no stories to write, and office picks would suck.
When I concentrate on just shop work then my office work gets behind and when I am in the office then the shop gets behind. it is a mix and I constantly struggle with it.
They are looking at ways to cure the problem they are having just like I am but it takes time. Give em some slack they are bustin the asses and putting out quality work.
I just feel their pain.
Well said.
Don't get me wrong, I'm just as disappointed in late mags as anyone, but I know that the guys at the office are doing everything possible dealing with all the problems so they can get those mags out to us. It'll get better, I have faith.
