Here is the rear plate for the lights... Some day I gotta get a sheet metal brake---tricky bending the edges of the plate so it follows the contour of the upper/lower tubing.

I would prefer smaller lamps but thats what jack had--and thats what mike made fit,lol...

Won't work, you would have to have more than 50% of your vision completely filled with the approriate wavelength of light...and even then it's a big maybe, sorry.

Well it was another good evening of work. I got the sheetmetal shield cut for the fuel cell and the mounts made up. There are 2 at the bottom tubing and I went and added 2 up top off the fuel cell mounts.

I decided to extend it down low to also cover the fuel pump--figured it couldn't hurt keeping the hot air off the fuel pump also.

One problem I came across was the wiring that went up to the cooling fan and the fuel sender popped out of the harness at the fuel pump to which now was covered by the new shield. I was going to just pop a hole thru the shield and run the harness up--well I decided to just redo that part of the harness and now it comes up along the edge of the shield,
