Project "Secret Squirrel"

ETM and I saw it yesterday. It looks REALLY good. If I were Jack I'd be pissing myself :D

He showed up not too long after you guys left, but I saw no pee stains :;

I'm really impressed with how well it's looking. I can't wait to see it outside in some sunlight. :cheer:

It is looking pretty sweet and I am looking forward to sunday driving it.:awesomework:

hey crusty, if you were me I think you would be more that peeing ...:masturbanana[1]:

Ok so I ran into town today and loaded up on another batch of parts..

So I got the pins done on the ram ends. I typicly weld a 5/8" washer to one side and I drill a hole down the center on the other side and tap if for a 3/8 bolt. And here is how it looks(the flat spot is so the pin can be removed with the tie rod on)

So I got the hydro lines today and more 3/8 hose to finish off the steering..

So with all the hoses/lines done I filled the system and cycled it back and forth to get the air out--then ran the engine and not a peep out of the pump.

So I started working on something else and after about a 1/2 hour I noticed this

Now as anybody knows its not uncommon to have a small leak at a fitting--well that wasn't the case..

jack369.jpg

The leak is coming from a pinhole where the end cap is welded on behind the mounting bracket--so jack wil need to make a call and have them send a new one..

Should have the new cooler tomorrow, and I don't think this held build up.

Looks Great Crash!:awesomework: :awesomework:

Well the wiring from the firewall forward is now 100% complete.

The only things left on the motor to do is--mount the air muffler/filter assembly. Install the accel cable once I get it. Weld a bung into the header pipe for the o2 sensor and run a couple vacuum lines..
