huh I see a 1000 promised acres cut down to 250 if we are lucky

You know all of the time I have put into this project, If I am ok with it, Do you think there might be a reason for that.

And ORV users were promised 1000 acres.....not just the 4x4 guys alone.

As it turns out, we get less.........but we all knew that from the beginning, right?:;

I remember when 'everyone' thought Reiter would never re-open........those people are starting to be proven wrong.


What else could 'everyone' be wrong about.......hmmmmmm, let me think........

My question for you, charlie and crash, How far are you guys gonna go to try to get back something. I'm just starting to worry that all the worrk you guys are doing is gonna be for not or for VERY little. Basically are you guys gonna go a mile to gain half an inch ? At what point do you guys call it quits?

It is 1100 to be split between bikes, quads and 4x4s

I would stop if I stopped receiving support from the ORV community and I see no more forward progress available.

Call it quits. I won't.

Here is how I look at it. If we have no voice for us, nobody to step up where do you think we will get? Noplace. Somebody has to stand up plain and simple

Heck I have already had to live thru the image of this all being my fault(or related to it). Did I break and walk away? Not at all. I kept the path that I started(with the belief that I have done nothing wrong) and I will continue to do so. I have never been one to quite.... Heck I grew up as a quiet kid, never stood up for myself, never put myself into any type of leadership position. I guess I have grown up to be what my dad is. Funny how that happens.

I have a belief and I will stand up for that. The only way that will stop is---well I really don't think I could no matter what.

When you call it quits you may as well sell your wheeler cause thats when they will shut it all down cause "we" were not willing to work for the ability to wheel. Its not a right and if you want to just beat the hell out of the land and have no one care then you should buy a ton of land and open a park. That is the only way you would be able to trash the land and get away with it (for a little while).:awesomework:

I was not at the meeting, but the area 4x4er's get seems like it could have 10+ miles of trail milage compacted into the two small areas.

There will not just be 2 or 3 long trails.......it will be an area.......a course, of sorts. Imagine the Rock Garden........for 200 acres.

So I've heard......

I can see this working if we have large open and heavily rocky areas to play in with a number of short connecting trails to get us there. .

I cannot see this working if DNR uses us to restore an area they have no intention to give back for our use. I am willing to put forth great effort to achieve the goals DNR has requested. DNR NEEDS to start giving use some good news. Tell use what you will do for us, not how much less they might or might not do.

We have been working our asses of for rieter WAY before this came down.

We have done the stuff they asked us to when dnr was patroling it

And yes it is a Right to use public land hence the public part :awesomework:
