So I am itching to get the engine wiring done but first gotta get the fenders on. Drug them out of the pile (or better yet my chev thats a mobile parts holder)

And painted. I only scuffed them up and knocked some of the rust off. They are in rough shape so it wasn't worth putting a bunch of time into them. But thats kind of the character of the rig.

Working on the front/rear wiring now.

None of the reverse lamp or 4x4 wiring was there (probably been gone for a long time).

I replaced the front marker lamps that were not there. Fired the system off/it started and ran. I ended up getting the tail lamps crossed so the turn signals were backwards lol. Easy fix at the connector. I also had to change the usb power feed from battery to ignition due to the blue lamp in the usb housing being on (had to re-route the voltage at the fuse block I added).

You have a source and p/n handy for that shifter boot? I don't think I've ever seen a combo unit like that, and it might just work for my flatty project...

I think the main boot is the stock CJ and the t-case shifter boot looks like the same one AA sells with there atlas t-cases.

Must have missed it (and I just went back through the thread), whats the drive train in that thing?

Obviously a good old SBC, but what is the tranny/t-case? T-case looks like a D300.

Its a 304 and not sure about the tranny(not original)mated to a d300.

I will have to ask bill what tranny it is.
