So while I am letting the paint get some hardness on the tub I went to the dash panel. I ended up stripping it and welding all the un-used holes and a few cracks. After it was stripped I went and test fitting everything prior to paint.
Got the new corners installed and the fuel filler. Probably one of the better options for you jeep guys to keep from them getting just hammered. :awesomework:
After many years of use I found the speedo had tons of dirt on the inside. I decided to tear it apart and clean it up. I was amazed how well the speedo held up as once it was back together it looked like new again with just some cleaning.
So the wiring was in very tough shape. The insulation was starting to crack and and over the years it had been hacked here and there. I plan on replacing probably 80% of it. Here is some of the passenger side to middle done.
So bill ordered these low profile led tail lights. They are pretty damn slick and I went and put connectors on them so they can be removed easily. Only down side is you have to trim the filler neck cover.
