You know........ You might have something there? it wasn't until we ran along that trail... with-in a few moments time - not only did i hear them lines Buzzing.... but i litterally developed a headache from hell. never once thought of that. i know i heard the stories of homes etc being relocated because of the lines & all... you might be right, my wifes the sufferer of Migranes, not me!

and this one was like one of those 7-11 Brain Freeze's - Ouch - it just wouldn't stop, it was a continous brain freeze type. if thats what a Migrane is like, I sure feel sorry for people that get them.

never thought of them powerlines, but i know thats gotta be it! I'am light sensitive and it was bright out... but i was fine until i rode under them Buzzers. and 10 - 20 minutes later - my head was pounding! had fun though and thats all that matters...

Yea, i've got them so bad up there i've started :puke:

What trails did you run?

I played follow the leader, It was my 1st time ever at Reiter... i think we started out doing, Sack Up... then ended up under them lines, on a trail that had a granite / rock obstacle that tilted you towards the edge... I was open diff's on 33's... and got hung up there... kinda scary... but the guys whipped out the strap & w/ a little tug - i was straight & headed back on the trail.

then we ended up at the - ? - Rock trail... where mostly everyone but myself attempted / did / or *broke a part doing the Rock's! sure someone will chime in when they get home... there was alot of people taking pictures. and they obviously stayed longer than me...

I was there saturday and sunday..where were you all??
I went up tward Izzy.. then up tward the mineshaft...that I just can't seem to find now.

Then helped pull a yoter out of the mudd with a few fellers.

Oh and got to see some jeep carnage. That was cool, twisted rear DL and a broken shackle. Good times.

Rich, it was good to meet and wheel with ya today. Glad you had a good time even despite having to leave a little early. Next time you're up you'll have to check out the wall trail area and hike out to the overlook, great view from up there.

Glad you took some pics cause I forgot my camera at home. :)

Speaking of pics... I saw Don taking some throughout the day... hurry up and post 'em Don.

On a less positive note... I think I've toasted the gears in my front-end... they seemed to get louder and louder today while we were driving around on the dirt roads and such at high speeds with the hubs locked in. :( Figures, when I did the setup I used my special D44 setup bearings, but when I put the permanent bearings on, things changed a bit and I had a little less preload than I would've liked on the carrier bearings and the backlash went all to hell. Should've fixed it then... oh well. :(

Yeah Rich, thanks for coming. I had an awesome time with you guys today.

You only got a sample of what Reiter Trails has to offer. Come back and play anytime.

I'm glad you got to come out and use your rig. Don't get discouraged dudes, we all had to start somewhere. I'll be your wingman anytime.

Liked whoever was in the cherokees that wern't realy all that gnarly givin' er' hell through some tough lines, way to go:cheer: I had some tire de-beading isues on a screwey line out of the rock garden but it's all good. Totaly stoked on my rollover save. All I gota say is I love those stainless tie-rods, took a rock straight on at full bore and is totaly fine:clappy:

Yeah, that rollover save was BADASS. That's what they call "taking it to the edge".

Nice work.

good to wheel with you all. left after rock garden, even though i mainly was watching there.
took the kids to the reptile zoo or garden there in monroe, they liked it.
after watching in rock garden i know that i have to get some spare 30 shafts.

Having that headache had to have made the ride home VERY LONG!!!!I m glad you had fun Rich. Good to see you get out and play.

To be completely honest, the only thing I remember from today is "Earl Had To Die" playing at high volume. The rest is a blur of dust, rocks, trees, blackberry bushes and body damage. :redneck:
