I like the hell out of it. Sweet truck. One of these days ill get around to putting the time and money into my 67 gto. Was a one owner car. Belonged to my father in law who passed away this summer. He gave me the car in 2006. He was a hell of a man who treated me no different than if I were his own son. My plans are to put a late model LS2 with the gto engine covers and a 6 speed auto in it. It runs and drives now. All still original except the wheels. Even the paint.

I'll always keep anything I take off it but I want to make a true driver out of it. The car will never be sold so I'm not worries about original value. I want to be able to get in it and drive it across the country if I want. I HATE carbs and I'm a drag racer. It's about the only application I feel they still have a place in this world. Oh ya Harley's too. Lol

And 70's jap bikes! :dblthumb:

It's basically a stock 350 motor. If I enjoy the truck and end up keeping it a while I plan on putting a LS motor in it.

It's lowered 3" in front and 5" in back with coil springs. I had to go back and add 2.5" lowering spindles in the front to get it to sit like it is now. I'm also going to lower the rear about 1 more inch to help level it out a little more.

I love that truck, Chuck thumb.gif

I took the bed completely apart and put new wood in the bed. The frame is all original. It was a southern truck no rust was not an issue.

That truck is SWEET! I've owned several 69-72's in the past and just picked up a 70 swb fleetside truck Friday night. If it turns out half as nice as yours I would be tickled. Those step side beds are the tits

Thanks man I appreciate it. It will be a nice driver I can get in and turn the A/C on. The cool part is my Dad and I built it and I dont have a fortune wrapped up in it. Im looking foward to puuting some miles on it.
