• Help Support Hardline Crawlers :

So i bought a 51 Whilly

Cool thanks Boosted for the lights just what i was looking for.:awesomework:

Started cleaning up the routing of the dash board wiring and re-mounting the fuse block. it was not happy where it was and i didnt have easy enough access to it.

Also the gauge wiring was being pressed into the dash frame so it needed to be moved around.

its too friggin cold out there for me so soldering in the kitchen sounds better anyways.

Man its sooo close.

anyone have an old bicycly with the quick release axel in the front they dont want anymore? i need the clamp thingy....:awesomework:

something to post pictures of.

mounted my driving lights, and this allowed me to finally paint the grill. ive been wanting to get the painting done and now i can.:awesomework:

first is the new oil pressure line i made. and the reason i tore all the wiring out of the dash. it was not happy.

this buggy is titled. :D Thats why. in rare cases im allowed to drive on the street even, there are very few rules for a restored horseless carraige.:awesomework:

i didnt really tear down the whillys it was in pretty bad shape when i bought it. had berry bushes growing thru the gas tank and floorboards... i used all that was good. i even had to remove the bottom three inches of tailgate to use that.

its a sweet rig..i had a 44 mb ..it was so clean..about 60 percent done ..i bought a 4 runner instead..the family loves the runner.but i traded the jeep off for a trailer.

im home sick today but parts are starting to show up. got my new scan tool for OBD I and II.

my drive flanges have been held up in, get this, Redmond Wa. due to inclimate weather for three days now?:haha:

well got the superior evolution axels shafts in. i had to cut them to length and then install them. well the cut to length part went well till i discoovered they dont fit inside the spindle bore. CRAP i thought this was a 80 ford f-350 housing turns out its from a 79 and has the smaller spindles.

so now i need my rear end reamed.:kissmyass:

Jantz 200 two day turnaround. Plus two trips to silverdale.
Bent Metal 200 and 1 day turnaround.

the only items left to install:
baha 500 GPS.
radio and GPS antenneas.
Roof so i can mount antenneas.
Stereo speakers.
