To keep from backing everyone out onto Al. Hwy 69, I am going to have everyone park, then you will be required to check in at the office. We will have plenty of personnel guiding folks to parking areas, separate parking areas for folks dry camping in Rv's, and designate areas just for 35 ft trailors or longer. We will contact anyone who made reservations in our campground a couple of days prior to the event to let them know which cabin, modular site, or Rv site they will be staying in so they can go directly there, unload their machine, then, check in at the office. This will keep the park organized and keep folks from waiting in line all day. Any suggestions would be great. Park will open at 6 A.M. :dblthumb:

Tyler, I am so glad for what you, Bobby, Kel, & countless others I do not know personally have done with & for this park. No park will ever have the memories that I have of an OG park like GrayRock, but I truly believe Stony is rising up to take it's place as the premier park that has it all. We are blessed with some wonderful parks in The south and I like things about all of them, but Stony is slowly winning a place in my heart!

Short of donating to charity, this is my second most passionate thing outside of my family. I am really pulling for Clyde and the crew to really pull off the best opening race in SRRS history. I spent 5 days at Disney thinking about cutting trails and sprucing the place up. A little over 3 weeks and its freaking on. If there is any time you fellas want to do something for me....or just the park. Come out and support this race. RZR park no more. Stony is going mainstream for crawling, bouncing, racing and just being a great park with a great staff. I am honest on these matters. If they sucked, I'd tell you. They truly love our hobby and do what they can to custom tailor it to what we want. Come out and show some support :dblthumb:

You know you have it bad when you look at the Topo map twice before you go to bed every night, looking for a ledge or hill that you might have missed hiking or trail blazing. BTW, if you go to this event, please get someone to help you find all the good spots before and after the race, to include: 418B, Timbukone area, Youtube Hill area, Who's Your Daddy section, Bobby's World/Square Peg, Hagan's Hill, Rock Creek and all the other good trails the park has put so much effort into.

Tyler is sorting out the parking details. Here is an overhead to kind of give first time fellas where the cabins are and an idea of what he is dealing with as far as parking goes. Plus, I think it is a pretty cool video.

Actually is there any slots open for my 5th wheel?

May not be a slot but you can park it and run off generator.
I may have to come camp Friday or Saturday night if there is going to be a few I know camping. Wife would love my excuse to have to camp 30 minutes from home.

I am 99% sure they are all full, unless there has been a cancellation.

I have a generator I will bring. It needs to burn through the fuel that is in it and it will circulate the fluids too. No charge for delivery or fuel, it really needs to be run more often than I do. It should run your whole set up as long as you don't have two A/C's running at a time.

New parking lots for the race hills.

Thank you Allen and Mike. You guys helped out more than you know. No pictures today due to not wanting to let folks know the other hill that is being raced. That being said, seating is looking great for both hills.

Wanted to let any Hardline members coming to the SRRS event know that I've rented the pavilion for Friday & Saturday. There's room for several trucks & trailers to park along side the gravel road leading up to it, and around pavilion. I plan on hammock camping there Friday night with a grill, generator, and stereo. Should be a good staging area during all the madness. thumb.gif

I'm amazed at how the park has evolved. A small group went yesterday and some of the Stoney rocks have done got NASTY !

Who's your daddy will move folks at the bottoms of it then you can shake a stick at

I will be at Stony bright and early next Wednesday. I will be providing slave labor to the park and to the SRRS fellas to help get ready. Anyone with any extra time is more than welcome to come out and be a part of the work crew. We run chainsaws, clear brush, etc.

I might be able to slip away towards the end of the day to show a few folks around. I plan to be there Wednesday through Sunday, so hit me up on any day except Saturday and I will do what I can to show you around.
