I want to toss out a special thank you to a whole pile of foiks. This is in no particular order and I hope not to forget anyone.
Clyde,
Thank you for giving the park a chance. You and your staff were courteous, hardworking and good down to earth people. Safety was excellent, movement of rigs throughout the whole race sequence was good, order was kept and I think the fans and drivers appreciate it. Thanks for letting me play with your smallest girl, she and I are on the same wavelength.
Hagan,
Thanks for letting me tag along for the ride. Always a good time and you brought us back home in one piece. Oh Shunt without slipping a tire was awesome.
Bobby and Polly Morris,
Thank you for putting up with me running my mouth all the time. Thanks for driving me around as well and chopping up trees, and for cooking food and bringing firewood and the list could go on forever.
Tyler,
Putting up with me must be a chore. Thanks for sticking with it and providing a place where I personally had my best SRRS experience to date.
Bobby Tanner,
Top freaking notch guy. Though he wasn't racing, he spotted for other drivers, worked recovery and proved to me all the nice things said about him were true. Come back any time and we will show you the whole park.
Matt, Cole and RickyB.
Live feeds, photos, videos......you guys are the best. Y'all just help put Stony on the map.
Drivers,
I am happy there were only bumps and bruises. You guys and girls put on a great show. Full throttle 2wd assaults, big air, roll overs and pinning it all the way out the top. Loved every second of the show.
Stevo and Kenny,
Thanks for believing in this whole project and coming out to support the park. Sorry I lost my voice and had to head back home. Next week I shall see you fellas again.
The Park Staff,
Behind the scenes, recovery, office staff. You guys and girls did a great job. Without all that y'all do, none of this could be possible.
All the Fans that braved the weather,
The most people that have visited the park to date. When you fellas cheered on Cash, I could hear it all the way on the backside of the mountain. Y'all really brought the energy to the event.
My wife,
She knows I am crazy and puts up with me. Wednesday-Saturday and she still gave me a big hug when I got back home. She makes it all possible for me to get out and help out the park.
Mike,
Thanks for cutting in some new trails with us and helping with the Support crew. You drove crazy hours all week, just to come out and help support the park. Tell your wife thanks from me for letting you come out and play.
I might have missed someone, if so, I will add some later. The week has been another great week in the life of me. So many good folks that i got to shake hands with, I can't even count.
