the begining of the end of my cherry horunna

so sunday i got started on mounting the sliders a friend welded them on:eeek: another buddies blazer before i got them. needless to say they need some work before i could do anything with them:puke:

after some tlc with some 100 grit and a flap wheel, i got some new tubes welded on and fishplated the frame

then onto my swing out spare tire carrier

had some brackets and pins from some other things layin around

got a sick spring loaded release pin/handle

some 1/4 2x3 and went to work:cool:

got alittle more work done on my swing out carrier tonight

got the release pin mounted and burned in, had to notch one side of my bumper to allow my carrier to open 180*

damn i hate this shitty ass camera:puke:

got some new shoes on the wip yesterday, nothin special just some leschwab 35's. cant beat free:awesomework:

also installed 5.29's/spool in the rear(thanks Bill):beer:
drift sess anyone:stirpot:
picked up a visor
redid most of the acessories wiring/ instead of ten wires running to the power side of my battery there is only three, much better
installed 12in bilsteins and shock hoop in the front
trac bar is still sitting on the shop floor, aswell as my rear shocks
blingin new grill, atleast once aday some asks me if its a chevy:haha:

one more of my air tank and line coming through the floor, i like the way it turned out and i was able to use a rubber grommit through the floor:beer:

still need to finish securing the rest of the air line but you get the idea,

murked out the lights last night, swapped in a tilt column and some other mis things nothing to picture worthy:;

hopefully i will have time and space this weekend to get my shocks and trac bar finally installed in the rear:011:

also found out my dad has a 4 runner top with a moon roof in to..and by top i mean for the the whole cab from the a pillars to the body line on the bed currently contumplating:eeek: cutting mine off and welding the new one on:mad:


anyone have any gray interrior parts for a first gen runner:corn:

if all goes as planned hopefully i can get out and do some snow wheeling next weekend, im thinking about heading over I-90 and finding some f/s roads to wheel on :corn:

You need a hood? im pretty sure i still got a 2nd gen one sittin at my house you could have. ill ask my dad next time i talk to him.
 
haven't had the time to work on my rig to much lately, but i did score a good deal on a set of tires 5 35/12.5/15 x-terrains that will require very little cutting to my body if any at all:cheer:

a couple smacks with a BFH should take care of the tires to firewall contact
