bad80cj said:The reason I ask is that I do not see a way to have 2 uppers without buying new headers and redoing tons of stuff. All I'm looking for is a solid trail rig to beat up on from time to time.

BustedKnucklefilms said:Its been a while since I built the 3 link on the taco. Be sure to make sure the top link runs downhill at least slightly from your frame mount to axle mount. I also had the bottom links at a little bit of triangulation as well.

pholmann said:Gotcha, makes sense. What's a steering box? Lol
kmcminn said:Steering box is what makes my jeep go down the highway at 65 mph with one hand on the wheel. No exaggeration there.
pholmann said:That's pretty impressive. I go full hydro on everything, but I don't drive any of my crawlers on the road. I guess that's why I've had my 42's that are on my ranger for 10 years. Trailer baby!!
LightBnDr said:Like it. Don't know if you are already dead set on that link tab at the frame for the lower links?
I would recommend chassis tabs with a long base or gusset the wee out of those. I have ripped those off a frame after about a year of wheeling.
Other question is if you have room for an upper link on the drivers side with a D shaft and headers, why don't you have room for an upper link on pass side as well to make a triangulated 4 link?
