I was thinking I wanted to go light and get a Featherlite or Tommy but **** those things are high dollar!!! Like double the cost of a steel trailer. However at 1500lbs for a 20' trailer, that is sick. For my buggy and trailer would be under 4500lbs. WOW! That would pull nicely. Just dreaming though.
so are you saying you are scared to pull 6-7K with a dmax? also why are you needing a raised tongue- blow the money on the adjustable reciever so you dont have to have a hard time trying to resale later down the road and hope you find someone looking JUST for a trailer for their lifted truck. i could probably find you a decent one here for around $12-15K. you could buy it now and have it ready for when you come up and haul it back
