Ultra4 - Tear Down in Tennessee (AOP, South Pittsburg, TN) East series

Planning to be there this weekend with a buddy whos bringing a mild XJ, I haven't been since new years eve 2017 with a one ton rig and 38's, and will be wheeling a new to me basically stock CJ7, locked w/winch & shitty dana 30 up front, 33's and puny stock shafts.
Do the numbers of the trails mean anything in addition to the green, blue, black or is it totally random? I didnt get to explore much of the park last time due to blowing up a transmission half way thru saturday.

Any particular green or blue trails yall would recommend that would be a decent challenge for mild rigs? Looks like a chance we will get some rain.

Trails numbers are random. The 90's on the top right of the map, JW trails, and pretty much most blue trails should be a good challenge for you. If it rains start green then go blue lol. It gets rough when a little water gets added.

Thank you, does the JW stand for Jeep wheeling?

Any idea if they will have decent spectator points setup on the woods section of the course this year? I would like to go watch, but we went last year and spectating sucked. We were directed to go to a big hill climb, but there a bypass. I think only Campbell ran the hill and everyone else took the bypass that could not be viewed. Ended up being a total waste of time.

Based on @Pumpkin post earlier in the thread, sounds like the bypass you mentioned is being taken out and will now be a better spectator viewing area. Ultimately it's up to Ultra4 to set the course and I think some of there workers were planning to arrive at AOP starting Sunday/Monday of this week. Hopefully @Pumpkin can give us some insider info when he has free-time this week molaugh Either way, it's tough to make decent spectator spots for a woods course without some hiking or being stuck at a certain spot all day long.

It's race week! Saw on the Ultra4 website they now have 59 entries total as of early Monday morning.

What's the word on spectator areas at this point? Are they expecting to have watch points in the woods?

Not heard anything new since earlier in this thread. They've had a couple (2-4) official spectator viewing areas on the course and then there has been some unofficial spectator viewing areas on the course as well.

No to be honest im not sure what trail that is. There's some trails on the right side i havent run or ran enough to recognize.
Drats on not recognizing the random rock picture! Only been on Uncle Steve once when our group was running it from both directions.

Should have been there when we got caught in the down pour. Matt and I dropped down it and when we got to the bottom i looked at him and go "man the rest of our group is ****ed" Thats a fun trail though.

I'm glad I stayed at the trailer for that one!

Who all is coming to ride/watch the races?

Just so I will know the next time I am at AOP where is this Uncle Steve trail?

I don't have easy access to my map since it's in the juggy which is already loaded in the trailer, but it's on the far right side of the park in the middle. Maybe @jeeptj99 can help narrow it down from there.

It is the upper portion of Granny Templeton. Which is like the 2nd or 3rd trail on the right side

But yet we survived.
