All of the DNR rigs have first aid kits though it doesn't hurt to have more. I have a small one in my buggy and in my pickup.

true but the dnr rigs are never on the trail we are working on.
I keep one in every rig I own but thats just me...

well now that i have talked to mark and have a couple minutes to post up here I am all game for this idea, another item mark and i discussed is a first aid kit,if he is going to be at pretty much all the work parties and have his rig out there it would be a great idea to have one of the big first aid kits in his rig.
not just one of those $20 deals from fred meyer but a bifg one with a bunch of stuff. or maybe we can all donate a bit of stuff and build one?
maybe someone works somewhere they can get a big one?

all FS rigs have a fire extinguishers too.

I know of a sandrail that burned to the ground and the FS guy would not let his FE be used to put it out. Then he ticketed the guy that owned the rail for not having proper safety equipment.

There are a few that I have looked at picking up from costco, and it all depends on what level you would like to get.

I know I usally have a basic first aid kit on me when I am out in the woods. This last work party I had one in my pack.

Thank you to everyone that has donated (or will be) to this build....to the cause.:beer:

It seems like we're all set....got a winch, tube and misc stuff. Also ROKRIG's "log tongs" will be shipped and here by the 18th work party. Those will be fun to use!
