IIRC....Yes. It's in the background....has a sheer face towards the camera....but the sides look like they could be excavated into some fun little climbs.....ie. up and over with the sheer face to the drivers side....or run downhill with the drop on the pass. side

It's hard to tell because of video quality, but I think what you're looking at is just a bunch of old logs stacked up from being thrown over the edge of the landing up on the potential old section of Jeep Cross (the little landing right around the corner from the V-notch). I might be wrong though...I might run out there and take a peek tomorrow if I can get away----also want to get down there to check out Mikey's new '55 Post in person :drooling1:

I can't remember where that video is? A hint or link would be handy......I looked at it a bit,at the time, and it looked useable

i will have the F250 and the trailer there where are we moving the rock to?

is the rock going to be part of the odstical or used as a retention to the sides somewhere

I *think* what Jeff is talking about is at the very beginning of the video look in the far background there are two trees in front of what looks like a large rock.

Yeah, talked to him yesterday, and he may be right Rick---the vid on my end is not great (crappy vid card in computer ...); I am not sure how close we'll end up to that area given where the trail's been marked, but it certainly can be looked at and discussed on both the 14th, and the 21st :awesomework:...

Both I believe. Mainly obsticle though.:awesomework:

If you come to the Walker Valley Focus group meeting on the 10th, I'm sure we can find out exactly whats happening. I posted it up in the general chat section.

3-4 man rock was about the limit of a mini-excavator. I'm aiming for rocks that these can pick up and move around. They'll be decent size, and placed well, they can provide some excellent challenge.

I'm not exactly sure which rock is being referred to, however the entrace, as well as half-way down the trail, there will be two large rocks (car sized, maybe bigger when we dig into them) that will be incorporated to the trail.

The rock is located up the BR-24 road. This is the road that goes veers right after the left that connects to EZ-valley connector (if you're driving up the BR mainline road)

If you do go up there before tuesday, get a hold on me Jakob.:awesomework:

I may make a trip up there if you don't.:awesomework:

okay. yah I'm pretty sure I'll trek out there before I goto the meeting. If you wanna meet down there with the Nissan, that'd be great -- I'm just bringing the truck (and I'm not sure if the gate will be open)

Nissan's down right now, but I'm sure the gate would be open.

I can also confirm that there is not a substantial ammount of big rock in the upper pit.

People will not need 4wheelers for what we're doing. Full-Size Trucks needed! The BR mainline gate will be open so you won't have to worry :awesomework:

I might be able to snag some from the meeting tomorrow. I'll ask Elyse.

I cannot remember if there was a rock there, but either way unfortunately we will not be going that route, as its too steep (45+% grade). However, there are two car/house sized rocks that are on the route that I want to clear off on Saturday.

There will be a decent rock climb that the end of the trail, buggies and long wheelbase vehicles will enjoy :awesomework:
