Any good hotels to stay at fairly close to the event? Places to stay clear of?
Couple of years ago we stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Dayton. Was a nice hotel about 20-30 minutes away from the event.

Decade ago we stayed at one of the local motels, and it was as expected but good enough for a single overnight stay.

Anyone make it out? Ended up third, missing second by only a few points. Cant complain though when I had one of the widest cars out there!

Impressive!

I watched the livestream but didn't attend. Livestream was cool to watch but they only showed the Unlimited class.

I made it up for saturday. Pretty cool event. Didnt realize they would have several rigs on the ledge at one time. Definitely worth the trip.

our crew made it out for the friday portion of the event. great times for sure. We ran Waldens ridge at windrock saturday and finished with a few other trails. We got tired as hell fast after wheeling all day so we ended up skipping saturdays event. great times for sure. next year we will go to adventure off road for the weekend and get over to Kizzars for the event. itll be a little closer.

How wide is the buggy?
79 Dana 60 + some KMC machetes with sticky mud whompers. I'm not sure the exact width but I'd guess about 90-92.

Most guys are running 9s and are closer to 85"

I heard on the livestream that the gates/cones were 102" wide, so plenty of room for trail rigs :driving:
