What psi are you guys running your reds

Run em low, let em hook, break crap. Have fun! 25-2600 lbs 8 front, 6 rear. Works good. A few cuts when I beat on it and when I run higher air. Works good at 8 and 10 too.

Reds really don't need single digit unless it's something stupid light. They will stay on a non beadlock wheel pretty well. In a tj I'll do 11/12 front to 12/13 rear.

same pressures here - but 5000lbs of CJ

I run mine at 32 psi on the highway then about 13 psi when I get to the trail then air back up to 32 psi to get home.

Reds are a horrible tire so the sooner I can wear them down to chord and run iroks, the better.

At work

Is this some kind of joke I'm not getting? I would not trade 1 wore out red for a new set of I cant's.

It is, I've been busting his ass because he runs a 42 red on a 20 and loves it.....

I saw jta give a "street" psi and I was appalled. I don't even like hearing mine bark as I turn 90deg in my street to load up.

Sorry though the veins in my face were about to explode while I was squeezing the life out of a scale as I read the post. I got carried away. Apologies

Be careful doing that, because you can fracture a bone in your forearm if you bottom out the scale & keep squeezing...

Mine are on a zuk with a 1.6L. I don't have the power to wear them out on the rocks. They are probably 7 years old and still have plenty of tread on them. A trip to the store or to grab a bite to eat isn't gonna kill them. The fact I'm in FL also means I'm not wheeling two weekends a month so they are gonna dry rot way before I wear them down.

Look man you can't just throw around swimsuit edition rig photos of a Zuk just to try and side step your careless treatment of red labels.

According to muddinmetal, all of the disciples ran 39" reds so they should be able to handle a trip to the store.

Then again I heard it was Haysoose himself who ran a 42" red on a twankie.

Ooooooooooohh

All in good fun gents :)

We did drive it down to Rockets last time we were at Choccolocco.

One of minesez leaks, so I sometimes run it at 0psi.
erybody was telling me 8psi, so I was running them at 10psi and telling them. "YASSSS... they're at 8... YASSSSS"

You meant one on each side, right?

I'm on my second ride on Red labels. They are way stickier than I could have imagined. Axle wrap is killing the rear right now and I have to fix that. I dropped down a couple more PSI than the first test session and they still seem to be a little stiff. I am used to tires that have some wrinkle to them, but all of those were also bias ply tires. Is going down to 4 and 3 really pushing it? The buggy is super light and the winch on front could probably suspend it from a nice high tree branch. The sidewalls absolutely do not bulge or wrinkle at the current PSI. I don't want to cut sidewalls and just looking for a bunch of people to disagree and hopefully someone that just runs boggers on rockwells to chime in :stir:
