What's the longest you have kept a rig?

7 years or so. Went through 4 transformations of different engines/axles/cases/suspensions/etc. I almost cried when i ravaged it for its parts to build my new truck.

From this when i picked it up


to this


then this after a couple revisions


and full circle back to this on the left. Probably chop the drivers side off about 6-12" in and hang in in the rafters in my shop as an art piece.


Hopefully i keep the next one as long.

I've had my TJ for 11 years now. It was my daily driver for 3 years. A lot of different builds have been done on it but this is how it sits now.

I still have the chassis and cab/fenders sitting behind a friends house. I robbed the drivetrain for the buggy build.

Honestly wish i hadn't ever molested that poor Toyota.
