We are noticing a huge movement to the Side By Side market, and after playing some on these thing they are really cool pieces of machinery. So, we decided to dabble in building a few products for them.

Pictured above is the cage we proto typed for Brit Mansell of Octane Racing. The cage pictured there is 1.5x .095 wall 4130 Chromoly tubing. We chose to go with this to save a little weight but it just looks so much better. I'm glad you guys dig the look of it. We offer it in a few different versions of how we build it here. http://www.wideopendesign.com/Product/207/Polaris-RZR-XP-Cage.aspx

We are also building the 4 rear suspension links for the 900 XP out of 7075 1.25 aluminum with 5/8 rod ends. They looks supper clean on the rear and on test vehicles they are holding up great.

We also have a set of A arms that Brit is testing for us on his XP now and they should be released soon.

Any thing else you guys would be a hit on the market let me know. I've had a blast playing with building this new stuff for them.

no way that is 1.75 tubing, looks more like 1.5". 1.75 would be overkill on one of those small things.

I'd run 1.5" x 0.95" wall.

Thanks for popping in Adam, especially confirming I was right. 1.5" and the fact you'd want some 95 wall to keep the weight down. Little thing looks good. Tell David he does good work for us. booyang

Wyatt reason that cage is .95 wall is its chromo. On there site says dom is .120. I'm still building mine out of 1 3/4 not saying you need the strength but the bigger tubing looks better imo

yep I know it was cromo thats how you get more strength and less weight. loller.gif Less weigh equals more hp dedicated to moving faster vs. moving more :flipoff1:

Might as well give up copperhead...........
Have you ever seen a post where indashop was wrong :dunno:

We are all crazy to think a rzr comes with anything other than 1.5 and that nothing looks better than 1.5 :wtflol:

I agree with copperhead
1 3/4 looks better and will hold up better.
Who wants to replace bars everytime they turn it over ???

Miles wadded his up pretty bad this weekend, of course not a scratch on him, he was at work 12 hours later :dblthumb:
30 mph jump, came down nose low listing to the right, the tie rod snapped and sent the tire under him flipping him at speed a couple times over trashing the freshly painted front plastics, radiator, maybe a light, lower ball joint let go and the knuckle rolled under. The tire is holding on by the upper ball joint and axle/brake line. Couple flats, potentially bent wheels and so on.
It is still on his trailer, maybe travis will go by and get pics on his phone and post them here.
