So what all do you intend to get knocked out on your rig or upgraded over the winter months in preparation for next years wheel a thon ?????

What are issue's you have had that you want to fix / change

What do you hope Santa brings your sled for Xmas ?

Mine is pretty much all about KOH, but the up side is that all this work I am doing for KOH will also get used for my trail riding next year. I hope to get a bunch of stuff for Xmas for the rig. Here is my list right now:

Window Nets
Spare Wheel
Howe Steering Cooler
Bling Amber Light

Projects:
Mount all that stuff
Cut new skins
Cut down new hood
Prep all body panels for paint
Have Joe paint it all
Prep interior panels for coating
Spray on coating
Rig maintenance (axles, fluids, mounts, etc)
Build Tire Carrier
Build Passenger T-Bar

I am sure there is more crap...

Ah **** you guys dont even want to know mine. Its stupid long like my johnson.

Too be honest I should probably just build a new buggy. Would be easier than all the changes I'm making.

I'd do a complete list soon.

I get confused when people talk about wheelin season. Are there some months when we are not supposed to go? :dunno:

TJ:
New Campbell hood painted and installed
Inner fenders after hood install
Mount new rock sliders
All new TRE's and BJ's
Install CTM shafts and joints
Find stock rear fenders

Campbell:
Back to TX to put in storage

Badlands:
Dad hs it in UT.
Turnkey motor still runs like crap.

House:
New windows
Start moving stuff to TX for storage

Work trucks:
Sell most of them
Either rebuild the boom on the superduty bkt or sell it and buy a newer one

Long term...like after I get out of school and start making some Matt O or Grog money.

TJ:
D60 front, new 9" rear (currently has sunray 9's front and rear) with 40 spline CTM shafts and ARB's.
Custom suspension
2.5 coilovers and bumps
Better cage and racing seats
Hydro assist
Beadlocks
37" tires that are not SSR's.

Campbell:
New full float CTM 9" in the back with an ARB
ARB in the front axle
New exhaust and interior that holds two racing seats, not one kirkey
Dump the hydroboost

Badlands:
Either tune the shortstar and get a new transmission or throw in an LS1/TH350.
Cut off every front axle bracket and the steering and build something that looks nice and is light.

Build a new buggy since Erica stole mine. :spin:

P Wagon:
Long arm front with 2.5 coilovers
Bypasses on the back with bags
37's and Gordon twanks

pre-RBD gotta get yoter running/driving...

Winter on my yota:
new frame rails out back, cage, armor, harnesses. Maybe just chop the top and trugly it, but I dunno. Prep it as a "chase" rig with secured camera storage, spare mount, possibly a jump seat in the bed for in/out run N gun shooting... Also like to get beadlocks of some sort prior to KOH. Mount 8274 since dad doesnt seem to want it anymore thumb.gif

Winter on house:
Bathroom and kitchen remodel... Probably closer to Feb before I even think about it.
Work on finishing basement. Going to set it up w/ bar, strippa/band stage/etc...

Winter on dad's rig:
new cage, ox or ARB in rear, talk him into D60 front and some diff tars...

rob you are 8 lug now huh?

Why not either borrow some P-town humma's on 44's and letter EAT!!!!

What size tires you run now?

I'm going to get started on my next buggy here as soon as I can. I've got all the major components already:

EOR 321 chassis
2005 LS2 w/cam, hoping for 430 - 460 hp
TH400 w/ rev. man. vb.
Chevy NP205 (possibly with 3:1 kit, depends on tire choice)
Steering rocks (already have Ouverson 16-spline shafts in one, I may have to get some 2" shafts to go in the other if I go with 47's.)
44" TSL's or 47" LTB's (Haven't decided if I want tall as **** or wide as ****. Probably just be whatever I find a good deal on.)
My current Stazworks rims or H1's, depending on tires
Gonna start with my current air shocks and upgrade to ORI struts someday when I **** a gold brick.
115 - 120" wheelbase to reduce end-overs when I get stupid on the throttle, again depend on tires.
And DEFINATELY SOME FRICKING CORBEAU SUSPENSIONS SEATS!!!!!

I'm just going to take my time and pay attention to details on this buggy so it probably won't be done by the end of winter though.

since i gots the hookup fo frizzle on some new 42" IROKs and 17's I wouldn't be hurtin to either staun it up on my H2's or nut up on some decent beadlocks...

incase y'all didn't understand that, Obama redistributed those 42's to me---instead of the guy that paid for em :flipoff1: laughing1

Your old man get teh CJ?

Yeah he got it. I think it's gonna get selectable rear locker, D60 front(w/detroit), lomax gears for the D300 and I hope to talk him into some 42's cause it's got the room for em.

Gonna also stretch it a bit. It's 100" right now. Keep it on leafs tho for time being. Oh and I forgot he has crusher corners already they are just not installed.

He might be down for hammers too, I just gotta talk him into it 8) at least now he's fuel injected and 8 lugg-thuggin... 2 steps ahead of where he was at.

I don't see that landcruiser going anywhere soon Chris, he told me he'd like to put that FJ80 rear under it---hah so I think we might just keep it... And where it sits right now at my house I should just get it streetable and mob it around town. Wouldn't take much work at all. He was just frustrated and on an impulse buy. He couldn't be happier driving the CJ daily, but I kno he has alot of blood sweat and root beers (he dont drink) in that landcruiser---he'll say we're selling it just to appease my mother--but I bet it doesnt sell in this economy since altho he's willing to cut a deal, he won't get hosed on it either.

You boys are way ahead of me. I'm just getting started.....Gotta start somewhere I guess.

60 front/14b rear
Atlas
Hydro assist steering
Stretch the WB out some. Still undecided on keeping the leafs or going 4-link.
New tires and wheels. Don't know what size yet, got room for 44s as it sits now.
Already got a 350/465....don't know if I'll change that or not yet.

I got til Feb. to make up my mind, its deer season right now.

Anybody else got too damn hobbies? Jeep, golf, hunting, and 12hr swing shift doesn't leave much time for anything.

Finish up the buggy transformation - Some tubes left and then body and interior storage left. I've got some ideas for spare part storage. I also have a new mixer to put on it to get some power back. Then I need to tear it apart and paint it right. I've spent too much time on it to not get it looking decent. Other than that, lots o projects on the house this winter. I hope to start wiring my garage and then insulate it. Hopefully the wife gets in LPN school in January and then we'll be better off in a year.
