Get a heavy duty with a high speed bearing and you want have as much trouble with the housing cracking. We use than all the time for line boring jobs and never have one crack and they are under alot more stress than you front driveshaft.

Sat.. gna hook up the taco w some skinned out tube doors (origina doors skinned and cut up w/ a tube backing)
gta get haley to lengthen my rear shaft where someone fawked it up..
fab new rear shock mount, since rear is lowered and the original one was made of muffler tube.. 8)
get my grill notched to mount the winch.
possible re-do tie rod, but prob not since its high clearanced now...

collect parts. I want a lomax or 3.8 atlas. Haven't decided front or rear engine or transverse yet.
I know I have a 5.3, some th 475's, a fresh and badass 400, couple other weaker ones, and 2 350's. A kp HP 60 front with chromo inner/outer. Other than that, its wide ****ing open.
I have to finish the tj that's on the lift, tons/links and shox front/rear and double it, then do another guy's yota, and another yj on tons/links/airs. then its house time
I'll keep collecting parts until I have a pile of aluminum and tube and plate and have time next year after the kid's 1 and the house is done. :-\

Seriously though, I didnt wheel for "basically" all my life, except for from the passenger seat until I got into a financial place were I could afford a steering wheel.
Took a long time. Kelly riding shotty a few years will be fine, this **** is in his blood, he'll come back stronger than all of us wheeling.

I think the plot is he'll be building 2 new single seaters in the not too distant future. One for him and one for me. Why build one when you can build two for twice the cost?

I actually paid $37 for it, it was on the 1 left pile, but I still felt like I over paid. The damn thing is silly BRIGHT though.
