Did I miss something? You just using the outers from that mono beam?

Yea..you probably missed the high pinion sd60 chunk I got from JJ a while back, it's posted somewhere in the thread.

I'm actually using the entire mono beam minus about 4" of tube. Its why I wanted it so badly, I'm chopping it in half and pressing the ends into the high pinion center as a pass drop front. No setting caster/camber/blah/blah/blah or welding inner C's on, it's easier for me this way with my limited shop.

You'll still need to set caster via clocking the tubes properly.

And AFAIK, Brannik is only doing 1480 shafts. I think the way that he is welding the sleeve onto the 250/350 shafts could easily be adapted to something like an Ouverson stub that was cut to the proper length though.

Bummer on the 1480 stuff, I didn't buy it to run little girly joints ;D

*******Ditched the 60, found another 80 and I wasn't passing up the chance to talk trash to you 60 guys ;D

Haven't really felt like keeping up this thread, here's a half ass update anyways. I've got one more update that I'll get posted this afternoon and we should be all caught up.

I built some stuff..I cut that stuff off..I rebuilt some stuff..then cut it off and tried it again.

I posted some pictures in the random thread...so no bitching if you see something you already saw. Some of this is going to jump around, pictures are just to unorganized to put it in order.

Jumped on the big set back motor bandwagon.... It's pushed back somewhere in the 13-14" range

Chopped out the old janky cage. New cage will be 2" main hoops with 1.75" everything else.

Stuck it in the truck and got it squared up. This is full bump, and yes that's the old floor infront of the chunk.

Decided to have the frame tie in directly on top of my lower link mount.

Hacked together a little inner frame bracing before I plate the last of the factory frame.

1/4" wall transmission crossmember. Before anyone asks, my drivetrain has always been solid mounted.

Also picked up the start of a new motor. It's a "small" block booyang
