Some big HDPE pipe would create the slickness of washington logs without the break apart and become schrapnel hazard.... I think the main thing about wheeling in western washington is the lack of traction. Dry rocks you can use the stickyness of the comp rubber to climb. In WA on the west everything is frigging slimey slick and no amount of tire heat is gonna unslickify a wet tree root!
