We cut 450 plus trees in 2 days . We kept them all off the trail !!!!!No hype, Nancy said that the lines and holes that have been blocked with blown down trees can be opened back up. At the end of last year Nancy had a tree crew cut down all the dangerous "widowmaker" trees that lined the trail. Most people thought that she closed some of the trail at the same time, but it was mother nature that downed the trees.

We were able to accomplish a lot...
Thank you to all the volunteers!
- Repaired the campground shelter support columns & added some paint
- Did a ton of work on the Busywild:
- Dug out several silt ponds
- Opened up lines that were blocked by blow down
- Closed off a few illegal bypass routes
- Rocked in "spectator row"
- Repaired the bridge...bolted down planks to hold the bridge together
- Blocked the illegal campground @ the Rainier Vista/Gotcha intersection
- Picked up garbage everywhere
- Added rock to the ditch outside of the campground
- Moved some rock piles to expand parking outside the campground
- Graded/leveled the gravel in the campground
