Me on the other hand am glad Cole's not racing this year as we'd be racing for the highest roll count in 30 feet. molaugh Hopefully struts fix my SWAY issue.

Hey I am going to let you be the test Dummy for these Struts. If they work for you and you like them, then I may order some, but I am not sold on them yet. I am really anxious to see you and others run these and get some good honest feedback.

Re: 555 repair report

Im sure Kelly talked to the team 5.0 guy a good bit since he had them on. Did have any feedback ? How long had he been running them and since i didnt see any of his runs, how'd the appear to work ?

I still think they are pretty cool by design, I like the strut concept thumb.gif

Re: 555 repair report

Since I spent all day on course working I watched Dave, Five-0 team, quite a bit. I was curious as well on the struts. He did dump it a few times. Watching him I was not sold on them. If I understood right though he may have a little more dialing in to do on them. Maybe Brian Shirley can give us some more information on that part. I could tell he did not have as much body roll though as Wyatt.

Re: 555 repair report

The Hannibal event will be crazy with the race and RROCK the next day. The partiers at RROCK can get crazy then add in the XRRA guys. The camp ground will be one big party. Hope to see you guys there. We are hoping to make Jellico, but unknown breakage so far in the tranny.

It will cool to finally meet you in person. I am going to try to make it but only if I can work in some wheeling too. Is there any wheeling/rocks/trails near there?

That is a haul from MS, but if I can swing by Flat Nasty or something on the way I will try to make it.

Re: 555 repair report

Took us 11 hours from g'dale with few stops, we did get a little messed up in St. Louis but that didn't take too much time. I'm looking forward to it this year, I love that trip! 8)

Re: 555 repair report

on the struts, the reason dave rolled so much (so he says too) is because he had increased his ride height 6" :o ish with nitro in the struts. I looked at his link angles at tech and wondered what the hell was going on. they hadn't changed anything but the height, and it had him so tall and such bad geometry, that with a spool in the rear he wasn't used to, it pitched him over a couple times. I talked to mark (ori maker) on the phone for an hour tonight, and I'm fully confident in the program and product. I'm jsut excited to hold one in my hands and fondle them

Re: 555 repair report

Im lookin forward to seeing you guys get Wyatt's setup with them and hearing more about them. You need to do a Strut thread in tech when you get them and give us a Billavista style write up on them !! drool

( I know you, it will be more like a page long sentence of excitement .... I bet you even pee on the carpet a lil when they show up laughing1 )

you can wheel at the park
there's some trails in the back of the park - we haven't got on em much but some can be challenging
there's SMORR and FlatNasty that you can hit too that aren't too far.

Get with Tom or Debbie from RROCK, they have some private trails not to far away and also used to own Rockport that has trails nearby but that is closed.

Re: 555 repair report

Yeah he's traveling for work a lot it seems and the $$ saved from Jellico buys a couple struts and more time to get the electrical all sorted out. I hate electrical ****, but if I was still in TX I'd work on that hooker for him dammit >:(
