.. She did 2 years of college in Tampa, FL and the final 2 years in the UK for film school. Right now she's doing marketing in Dayton, Ohio for the AMA Flattrack series but she's not making it a career. She's moving to LA this fall which hopefully is about my time frame as well... I'm gonna make the move happen, I'd be stupid not to. Flights out of LA are cheap so I can still do the AMDF thing, driving is way more expensive than hoppin' a plane. I have several contacts out in LA and I'm pretty confident I can find work. My friends that do video work out there make damn good money... Once established (after 5-6 years) a friend of mine started making over $100/hr... Another friend's cousin is over $100/hr as well. Alot of the video guys work hard all winter at ridiculous rates and then all summer take off since your jobs are all contract jobs. I think I'll be much happier doing that.

Also, I have family with lotsa room out there so storing wheelin' rig will not be a problem.

yup... Not saying I'll make $100 an hour but I do have friends that do real good out there! I know I should start at $25 or so doing bitchwork logging/capturing stuff as an asst. editor but that's how you make the contacts and prove yourself capable for the better gigs

Thanks Kelly.. I will pass that contact onto you. My brother confirmed that it is okay I just need to meet with the 2 owners and maybe we can get something on paper so they know they never have to worry about disposal.

hah and ya dude a few hundred gallons of bio would save about a grand driving out there laughing1

and yep need to get that toy linked and caged out before I go to Cali.. I need to have my crawler in order, buy a trailer and have 3 months living expenses in the bank before I put in notice at work.
