Nah dude I'm just more confident that I can go there and be succesful. I think I was took skurr'd to up and move before... It just clicked in my head, first trip when my grandma passed I was telling Ryan "gotta move soon" now after this one I'm convinced. Way more opportunities. I can't keep putting off the inevitable--and I didn't go through 4 years of college to stare at spreadsheets all day. I did it because I wanted to do video every day. I had a bad attitude right outta school since I got so damn burnt out pushing hard with the biz... I fizzled out because I was being pulled so many different ways---video biz, school and trying to find time to sleep. Then the frustration of zero video job opportunities in KC.... I'm ready to move on.

Right on man! Chase your dream. You are young enough you can. You will make mistakes and that is fine too. You seem to have a good head on your shoulders, go where your talent is needed. The obvious place is California.

Your on the right path brother man !! Go do that ****, worst case it doesnt pan out just the way you planned, but at least you wont be sitting in KC lookin at a spreadsheet regretting "that time I almost..... "

Go for it man, put your faith in your skills and your passion in your work and youll be successful on more levels then just financially

Kelly, when you apply yourself you are no **** about the smartest person I know, you have great retention ( not anal ) and you really have a passion for knowledge when it comes to something of interest to you. I have NO doubt you could put yourself in any situation and find some mathematical way for it to work to your benefit 110% of the time. I mean damn, your the only multiple DUI offender I know that has a badass Dually with a "blow before you go" device... if that aint mad skillz, by god i dont know what is !!

Paul the Rev. Run comments are pretty damn motivational!

We'll see how it pans out, I'm just tired of waiting for something to happen. I was seeking financial security and was stoked to get this job---I know it'll lead to management and pretty good $$ but it's just gonna be a corporate politics game the rest of my life. They already keep dropping hints about relocating to Wellington, FL(west palm beach area) and that's the last place I wanna go... Obviously I don't put my all into my job since you guys see me on here ALL DAY... yet somehow I still get praises from my bosses. Pretty damn unfufilling laughing1... Talked to my grandpa about the move stuff he thinks I'm dumb to quit my job because it pays more than any job he ever had... He was a tight ass county worker/chicken farmer who saved every penny and got lucky with property making him a millionare. He has an addition on his house that I can rent temporarily until I have $$ to move closer in to Hollywood or Santa Monica... We'll see. I'm gonna work on a plan of action for 6 months to 1.5 years from now. My buddy that has 2 roommates in a house in Santa Monica pays $900 a month for his room

But you make alot more $ out there too.

It's all a trade off Rob. CA is a better place for the most part, more opportunities and better $$ potential if you are not a total ****stick.

It beats KC in a lot of ways....unless you are content being the average joe. Just my opinion. I do miss the **** out of KC now that I am gone however.
