Yota's under sammy

Forgot about this thread. And yes the doors off is the best way to roll in the zuki.

Still working on putting the axles under the zuki but its gettin there. would be nice to wheel in good weather at some point with this thing.:booo:

What's the plans?

Yotas and YJ's for now. After it is back on the trail I will start pulling together some stuff for the next stage.:awesomework: Thinking links, coils or air shocks, Tube front clip, move the axles out, full cage, rear tube work, 37's, longs, 1.6 8V, 5.29's. Will try to keep it some what legal.:haha:

Sweet. I will be doing YJs next weekend maybe. I'd recommend just going for a 16v, or GTI 1.3 16v.

If you're going big, I'd skip the 1.6 8v. The GTI motor is more power and all forged, and revs like mad, and the 16v is more power. MPFI. The harness aint hard, and it's the hardest thing to do.

Ya the 8V is less power but I am not one to really go all that fast. Not in a zooki. If I decide that I want to go fast and have more power then I will look at other motor swaps but I think at that point it will be more like 22re type of thing. I like the 8V cause I will run a big twin carb and maybe later go with pane.

A stock 16v has the same power as a 22R and most likely a bit lighter, fits in easy, and can you sami trans/clutch or use the 5 speed/3 or 4 speed auto/dual stick it at the same time. Alot more power, and now more lower gears too.

No offence to anyone but only way I'd go carb'd is GSXR's. EFI or pane FTW!

I never ran Pane but heard lots of good, little bad. I'm more of an EFI guy.

But it's your rig so its cool to be unique! Just my 2 cents.

I have heard lots of issues about the GSXR's set up so I think I would shy away from it. I would like to go pane so thats why I want to go carb to start. If I was to really want power and EFI then I would just say **** it and slam it a GSXR1000 and then see what I can bust. I have already figured out how to get one in:redneck:
