Thats a cool unit. why do you keep the lengths so long? Are they for a boiler rather than a wood stove?

for drying storage its faster, easier to stack long. after they are dry we cut them to lenght and move winter time amount to better storage.

Will the box work in both directions? I see they make a forward and reverse version but didn't know if it would work if the motor reversed instead of the box. I have been looking to make a welding positioner out of a dividing head I have and this could definitely be a nice option for speed control. The one I saw online was 12 in lbs. Seems a little light but the positioner is 40:1 so probably fine.
