mod. class, 30' "A" build up

I agree Stan, be careful. Never really thought about that before. I've caught quite a few things on fire so far, mainly me, but that could get scary. I know you've done a lot of welding out there, but I don't want to hear of any barn burners. I don't think my shop is big enough to build both buggies.

Do you still have the shitter running while you do this or is it tore down? We've been playing in the snow. dont know how you can miss snow wheeling but it will be cool when its finished! When my rig gets beat up i will build something else to.

yeh I parted the toy out. LOL when youres gets beat up :haha: :haha: I think it happened a long time ago:redneck: .

Yeh I have caught myself on fire a lot lol. I always try to watch wich way the sparks fly and if I have to I lay down some plywood to stop sparks from gettin in the hay. I have had a couple fires at work and it gets real exciting, nothing like oil and sawdust to make a nice fire:redneck: .

Daam did not get anything done so far today, spent to much time castrating the lil bulls into steers :redneck: :fawkdancesmiley:

4speed!!! now i dont feel like an asshole for having one myself. what yokes did you go with??? Also, anychance you are going to be able to mount it off the bottom cover bolts? Thats the way i would have done it if i had the room. It sucks having to pull the yoke with the roark style. NOt the end of the world but something to think about. ALso, who did you order from? You might want to remind someone in the chain that they havnt been shipping enough oil with the 4 speeds, which is BS. YOU need 2.5 quarts and they only send two. i am all out of atlas advice, cable shifters rule.

Ben

HURRY UP STAN...Yakima Rockcrawl March 29th!!!

Nope ur still an asshole :fawkdancesmiley: , 1350 yokes. I hope to be able to mount it off the bottom bolts time will tell, if nto then to pull it all I will have to do is pull the .5" bolt that bolts to the frame. That is how I did it with the d300. I ordered it from PORC, I will try to remind them of the oil issue. Yeh with out the cable shifters I would have had to realy strech to get to the shifters.

Hey wah how is ur back doing ???

Nope ur still an asshole

x2 :fawkdancesmiley: :haha:

4 speeds, I should just follow you guys around and buy your leftovers. Miracle of miracles I've actually been working on my junk - I'm shooting for next winter myself. I wouldn't want to overload my schedule :alcoholic: :jerkit:

Edit: Yeah, how is the back, Wah?

well got a lil more done, motor is sitting in it. Finally got my ARB's RD99's. Good luck on getting them right now, ARB is out of stock and will not have any back in till who knows when. I know that through the end of Feb. that they will not have any in stock. I found three and was happy to get a couple. My 12 gal. fuel cell showed up, I sent a R&P off to get heat treated and chryod, brake pedal and MC showed up, cutting brake lever showed up and a bunch of lil parts.

I have my lower radiator mount in place and mounted. The lower winch mount/bumper is tacked in place, I still have to finish the upper mount up. I had to go with a reverse mount MC because my hood is so narrow it would be sticking out of the firewall all by its self. Poly performence set me up with a single pedel dual MC unit with a 3/4" bore for the front and a 7/8" bore for the rear with chebbie half ton brakes all the way around. I wish that I would have made the cab a couple of inches longer for more leg/pedal room.

Why is there 3 feet of chassis in front of the motor? What's the wheelbase going to be?

the wheelbase is going to be around 108, a lot of the front end will be getting cut off so it will not be that long. figure 9" for the winch, 6" for the radiator/electric fan combo and 3" inches for the mech. fan so it should be 18" in front of engine. The frame will be even with the front of the tires.

a few pics of it with the hood on it, gonna be a tight fit to get everything to fit in there. I have to run the reverse swing brakes or they will be sitting out swinging in the wind. I have about a .5" of clearence between the hood and everything lol
