after installing the the third member in the rear axle with the ARB, I discovered a slight problem with the 35 spline stange axles that I had been running. I was running a spool with no cross pin, well arb's have them so I had to shorten both axles to make them fit.

bent a hoop around the radiator shroud, kept it as close as I could get it so as not to destroy the lines of the shroud. I figure that the sheet metal is close to 80 years old that I should try to save it with an exo front end :;

What did that clip do to your visibility? One of the reasons I built my own was to be able to scale it for both apearance and visibility/function.Don't get me wrong,i think what you have is sick and bold(vintage tin) but I personally couldn't sacrifice visibility.I'd like to see both our cars side by side....that would be cool

if you look on post # 57 I give a shot of what it looks like from the drivers seat, I will get another one here in a lil bit. I was going to build my own but the cost to buy the stock stuff was to cheap. I do not think that I could get it much narrower. Everything is super tight under the hood as it is :; .

the view looking from the drivers seat, I am really happy with how the hood and hoops line up :redneck:

So what all did you get done this weekend? I don't see much, must have been taking naps all weekend. Hey your motor is dirty. :D

lol well spent sunday driving around w/ GF, went up to Astoria to look at all the tarped roofs and trees blown down from the big wind storm a few weeks back, then decided to go theback way out to Jewel wildelife refuge and look at the elk, finally went to Vernionia and looked at all the flood damage and the crap people had laying in there yards that was ruined by the floods:booo:
If I had to live through the damage they went through in boht towns more then once, I would have to move.
