Kia sportage sas w vortec

Well I have been tying up a few of the loose ends on this thing the last couple of days and for those who noticed the upper link seperation at the frame. I fixed that :awesomework:. I took it outside for a bath. and got the shop cleaned up (long overdue) and me and my bro got an engine dropped in his tow rig. here is kind of a before and after pic even though the bumpers arent on it. and our ride to KOH next year :cool:

Its a little tall but it looks like fun. we dropped a 350 with a sm465 into the super mega cab it was going to get a 4.3 but it has to pull another mega cab behind it so 2 more cylinders couldnt hurt. It had a 22r in it so we knew that wasnt gonna work.

I've been wondering what the story was on that white truck, I'm right across 702 from you guys. Sportage looks pretty cool, should be sweet with some real tires on it.

i hope to see that thing drive down the road i live in graham. whats the deal with the toyota limo thing[/QUOTE).

Did you get your can swap all done I haven't seen your truck in a while? I think it might be a trailered rig but not sure yet. We are building the limo just cause my bro needs a tow rig. It was going to the scrapper so he rescued it and its at my place cause it was too long to fit in his shop.

I got pics last night with the swampers on it but my internet is down so as soon as I get it fixed I will post em. I looks pretty cool with the beadlocked 40s on it tho. I'm on my phone right now and it won't upload the pics from it.

Cool cant wait to see it. I just did a three link on this cause I didnt want to have a fuel cell inside the cab, I did screw up on the frame seperation on the third link at first so fixing that was kind of a pain, but with all the kits for the yotas Some of those you can have all installed in less than a day ( since all the geometry is already figured out ) it would be super simple :awesomework:

Looks good man.:;

Thanks, I cant wait to go tear it up. I was hoping it would be done by now but its getting closer :D

I got after it today it was so nice I pushed it outside to work on it :awesomework: I knew there was gonna be some serious rubbing so I didnt want to build a bumper and have to change it later on so I flexed it out and made a sweet cardboard bumper flexed it again and it all cleared so I started cutting some steel. I got it all tacked up on the outside and welded inside where I knew I wouldnt be able to get to once on the truck. I trimmed the fender a little bit It should be good to go with about 6 hours of welding and grinding. :D
